This guide explains different kinds of information available from the CSU-Pueblo Library, online, and elsewhere. The CSU Pueblo Library is not a law Library.

Library staff do not practice law and, therefore, are not permitted to:

conduct legal research for patrons,
provide legal advice or opinions,
read a legal authority over the phone, even if provided with a citation.

Quick Guide to Legal Resources at the CSU Pueblo Library

The library does not own the Pacific Reporter or any other print version of Colorado court cases or other court cases other than those of the US Supreme Court.

Colorado Court Rules appear as part of the Colorado Revised Statutes (see above) and in the following separate volumes:

Legal Encyclopedias: the library does not subscribe to the legal encyclopedias American Jurisprudence (AmJur) or Corpus Juris Secundum (CJS). However, legal background can sometimes be found in articles in the "Law Journals Library " component of HeinOnline.
