This guide is designed to give you an overview of the CSU-Pueblo Library Academic Resource Center (LARC) Building and the resources available in it.

First Floor LARC Wing Services

OUC Temporary Office Relocation includes the Alumni Office in LARC 183 & 184, in the south side foyer.

 The Center for Academic Enrichment is located in Suite 151-164, and includes the Academic Improvement Program, Academic Advising, Accuplacer Testing, and the National Testing Program. The General Education Tutoring Center and the Writing Room, located on the 2nd floor in the wing, are part of the Center for Academic Enrichment.  The Career Center and Disability Resources Center and  LARC 108 (classroom) and LARC 109, (auditorium), are also on the first floor in the wing.

Academic Improvement Program: LARC Suite 151

The Academic Improvement Program helps students on Academic probation by creating an individualized Academic Improvement Plan, and provides transcript review, time management assistance, and study skills assessment.

National Testing Program and ACCUPLACER Placement Test: LARC Suite 151

The National Testing Program at CSU-Pueblo is able to administer a number of nationally recognized tests to CSU-Pueblo and community members, including the ACCUPLACER, ACT, CLEP, GRE Subject Tests, MAT, LSAT, and SAT.

Advising and Registration: LARC Suite 153

The Advising and Registration Office has advisors for all majors. Advisors engage with students once they have been accepted to the university and help students create schedules that will foster success at Colorado State University-Pueblo and help build a foundation for future semesters.

LARC 108 & 109

LARC 108 is a medium-sized classroom that can accommodate 45 students. It has an  instructor workstation and two projectors, and is enabled for video conferencing.

LARC 109 is an amphitheatre that can accommodate an audience of 75. Seats have fold up arm desks, an instructor workstation, projector, and audiovisual capabilities. 

Both rooms are scheduled for classes during business hours, but may be reserved by campus organizations for use during evenings and weekends.

Career Center: LARC Suite 187-191

The Career Center offers Individual Career Coaching appointments, Personality and Career Assessments (Strong Interest Inventory), Resume/Cover Letter/Employment Letter development, Career and Major Exploration tools, Job and Internship Search Strategies and postings, Internship Orientation, Interviewing skill development and practice, and annual Career Fairs.
