This guide is designed to give you an overview of the CSU-Pueblo Library Academic Resource Center (LARC) Building and the resources available in it.

Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Reserves, New Books & More

  • Need to checkout, renew, or return a book or dvd? 
  • Would you like to borrow a laptop, iPad, or Ultrabook? 
  • Want to pick up a resource from ILL or Prospector?
  • Need to borrow a reserved item for your class? 

Browse newly acquired books and resources on a variety of subjects and topics, shelved to the left; and a rotating collection of fiction and non-fiction bestsellers shelved to the right, directly across from the circulation desk.

The CSU-Pueblo Library collection includes a number of DVDs and CDs.  DVDs include many documentaries and motion pictures.  CDs include a variety of music genres.

The Circulation Desk is the place to go for all of this and more!!!!

IT HelpDesk

The Information Technology Services (IT) Department is responsible for maintaining and updating the campus computer network.  The IT department provides a number of valuable services through the IT HelpDesk

  • Computer Hardware Problems or Installation 
  • Computer Software Problems or Installation 
  • Locations/Schedule for Computer Labs 
  • Application for E-Mail, Network, Blackboard Accounts, and AIS accounts 
  • Assistance with E-Mail, Network, Blackboard, and AIS problems 
  • Audio/Visual Equipment Scheduling 
  • Electronic Classroom Locations (Scheduling is through Kathy Shisler in Records at extension 2900) 
  • Telecommunications Services - telephone equipment, voice mail, cabling, jacks
  • Report printouts/pickup
  • Documentation

    Cafe Libro Coffee Shop

    The Cafe Libro Coffee Shop allows you to grab a cup of joe and a light snack between classes or while utilizing the Library. 

    Take a break, recharge, and socialize in a pleasant learning atmosphere.

    The cafe is open:

    M-Th: 7am-9pm

    Fri: 7am-5pm

    Sat: 10am-4pm (fall and spring semesters)

    Sun: 1pm-9pm

    Computers and Printers

    The 1st floor of the library building includes 55 computers, 2 black & white/color printers, and a 3D printer and 3D scanner.

    Audiovisual Lab

    LARC 128 and LARC 137 are designated as Audiovisual Lab spaces. 

    Both of these rooms include:

    • PC with Blu-ray player
    • VHS Player
    • 55" wall mounted flat-panel display

    These rooms can be reserved by calling the IT Help Desk at 719-549-2002.  Reservations are on a first come first served basis. 

    Multimedia Lab

    LARC 121 and LARC 127 are designated as Multimedia lab space. 

    Both of these rooms include:

    • 1 PC Computer
    • 1 Macintosh Computer
    • 55" wall mounted flat panel display
    • Scanners
    • Adobe Master Collection CS4 Software

    These rooms can be reserved by calling the LARC Info Desk at 719-549-2002.  Reservations are on a first come first served basis. 

      Presentation Room

      LARC 122 and LARC 136 are designated as Presentation Rooms. 

      Both of these rooms include:

      • A Teacher Workstation
      • Presentation Screen
      • Tables and Chairs

      These rooms can be reserved by calling the IT Help Desk at 719-549-2002.  Reservations are on a first come first served basis.
