The library has a great collection of art books and databases. One of the most useful resources for is ArtStor, which allows you to create a library of digital art images.
In order to fully utilize the images, you need to register and set up an account within Artstor. This allows you to download images into Artstor's proprietary software, which allows you to import images which can be manipulated for enhanced demonstration in lectures and other presentations using Powerpoint. Please contact Sandy Hudock if you have questions, would like more information, or to set up a workshop for your class.
Find primary accounts of exhibitions and critiques of works using these databases. Be sure to limit by date.
Now where's that book? Don't bother me, I'm reading.
